Keep Yourselves in the Love of God

Jude 1:1-3

We are taught that in order to multiply mercy, peace, and love we must be sanctified. In order to be sanctified we have to repent and forsake our sins.
When we do this and are living the commandments we will be strengthened in the mercy, peace, and love we have received and we will be able to contend for our faith.

In Jude 1:6 it talks about the angels who kept not their first estate. Through the footnotes we are able to conclude that the first estate is pre earth life. So Jude is talking about the angels who were not righteous in the pre earth life and that chose to follow Satan. He said that those angels will stay with Satan after the judgment day.

The 8th article of faith states that we believe in the ability to prophecy. Consequently then according to the New Testament manual there may be some truth in the book written by Moses called to be, "The Assumptions of Moses".
Moses believed that Christ argued with Satan over the instigation of Eve taking the fruit, as well as the burial of Moses and whether or not he should go with Satan because of murdering an Egyptian man.

Then in Jude 1:14 it tells us something interesting as well. It teaches that during the Second Coming Christ will be accompanied by ten thousands of his saints.

Jude 1: 17, 20-25 Teaches us valuable lessons on how to avoid evils that come from false teachers. We are told to keep ourselves in the Love of God and you will be able to be presented faultless in the sight of God.
If we have the Love of God with us then we will also have the Spirit.
The Spirit will discern for us what is good and evil, and it will testify of the truth to our hearts.
If we are living in a manner that we
We also need to remember the words that the apostles have spoken to us in the past. If someone claiming to be an apostle is teaching contrary to the word of God, it is founded on unstable doctrine and we are able to know it is not form an apostle of God.
